Ava R. Tesoriero | Ceramic Artist

Ava Tesoriero is a ceramic artist from Chatham, New Jersey. She is currently an Artist-in-Residence at Worcester Center for Crafts in Worcester, Massachusetts, where she continues to explore the intricacies of the bottleneck form. Prior, she completed a year-long residency program at Saratoga Clay Arts Center in Schuylerville, New York. She earned a B.S. in Studio Art with a ceramics concentration from Skidmore College, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2025. 

Tesoriero’s talents have received numerous accolades and awards, including the Winter 2026 Homiens Art Prize Finalist, the Barbara Greene Wild Award in Ceramics, the Molly Haley ‘64 Entrepreneurial Artist Prize, and the Skidmore College SEE-Beyond Award. Additionally, she earned the Girl Scout Gold Award in 2020, where she developed a Sensory Art Program for adults with special needs at Corpus Christi Church in Chatham Township, New Jersey. 

Her ceramic work has been exhibited in acclaimed galleries across the nation, such as the Tang Teaching Museum, Queen City Clay, Lower Adirondack Regional Arts Council, Main Street Arts, Spencertown Academy Arts Center, and Cooperstown Art Association. Her practice has also been highlighted in both international and local publications, including the Arts to Hearts Project “Women Artists on the Rise,” Circle Foundation for the Arts “Spotlight Magazine,” 518 Profiles Magazine, the Post-Star, and TAPinto Chatham. Most recently, her body of work was featured in a duo exhibition at Saratoga Clay Arts Center, entitled “Rooted and In Bloom.
